Last week, I helped out with NWOC's Total Immersion Seakayaking and Surf class. We spent a couple of days at Fort Flagler paddling around the bay and then headed off for Hobuck Beach near Neah Bay for four days of surfing. Friday turned out to be a beautifully sunny day, but as usually for the beach, on the other days we had fog and a little rain. But it was still great to be out and about and the Get Away Van made it for another year.
Meanwhile, Kevin and Herbie were teaching NWOC's whitewater kayaking class on the Snoqualmie River. Herbie and Kevin were treated to a hot lunch on the river courtesy of Jo and Subway.Check out photos of NWOC Whitewater Fever July 2009 class
